The George Rogers Clark Honor Guard is the first District level honor and color guard in the United States.
It is a voluntary Boy Scout Crew where the scouts must meet the Honor Guard’s selection criteria to represent the finest Boy Scout traditions of discipline, appearance, and competence. The George Rogers Clark Honor Guard was established during the 100th Anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America. It was established to honor this Centennial Year and the patriotic spirit of the Boy Scouts of America. Every month, members of this unit practice marching drills and learn how to respect & honor the
American Flag and their country. in 2017, the name of the unit has been changed to reflect the new six county district it serves- Lewis and Clark.

need for emergency response or disaster relief,

windstorms, flooding and other natural perils.
The Boy Scouts have a long tradition of public
service including service during the aftermath
of natural disasters and other emergencies.
The Crew 2010 led emergency response team
must be prepared to move quickly to assist
local authorities and disaster relief agencies.
The primary purpose of the team will be to
store, transport and provide tools, equipment,
emergency supplies, food and water.
Additional activities will include establishing
communications and providing temporary
shelter.
Emergency Response Knowledge:
The Boy Scout program encourages boys to
learn and practice emergency preparedness
skills. As a member of this crew, Scouts will
be able to expand their knowledge so they will
be able to respond to a wide range of disasters.
Current Crew members & guests are

disasters, the crew has an emergency response
