PATCHES/SEGMENTS THE SCOUTS EARN THAT GO ON THE VEST

(Only things done as a scout can be put on the brag vest.)

 

Center patch - given when scout earns first segment.

 

Segments are earned for participation in all pack activities.  Exception will be if patch is given instead.

 

Segments are earned for outings and/or field trips that the scout participates in with the den.

 

Segments are earned when Wolves and Bears complete each achievement

 

Perfect attendance patch – attend all 8-pack meetings – can be earned each year

 

Clean Up segment – participate in all Richardson park cleanups scheduled for your den (if you cannot participate on the month your den is scheduled, one time can be made up by participating with another den – it is the scouts responsibility to reschedule) – can be earned each year

 

Seasonal section patch – participate in all 3 pack activities scheduled for September, October, November (Autumn) - December, January, February (Winter) - March, April, May (Spring) - June, July, August (Summer).  Can earn once – after that segment is earned.

 

Cake bake patch – first time participate in Parent/Son cake bake – usually scheduled for February pack meeting.  Segments are earned each additional time scout participates.

 

Rocket Derby patch – first time scout participates in Rocket Derby.  Segments are earned each additional time scout participates.

 

Regatta patch - first time scout participates in Rain Gutter Regatta.  Segments are earned each additional time scout participates.

 

Patches are earned for participation at winter and/or summer camp.

 

Patches are earned for participation with the pack at the Youth Expo. 

 

Whitlin’ Chip patch can be earned as Bear or Webelo.  Requirements found in Bear book.

 

Conservation patch can be earned as Wolf, Bear, Webelo.  Requirements vary depending on rank.

 

C Letter is earned at time scout gets his first pin (needs to earn the corresponding belt loop first).

 

BSA family patch – Earned first time requirements are met per booklet.

 

Popcorn sales patch – must met requirements as outlined each year for popcorn sales

 

Leave No Trace patch can be earned as Wolf, Bear, Webelo.  Requirements vary depending on rank.
