Mecklenburg County Council Website: http://www.mccscouting.org/Home.aspx is the Mecklenburg County Council’s website. There you’ll find information on council-wide events, Council Training, and more.

Hornets Nest District Website: The web site for the Hornets Nest District is now accessable from the Council Site.Go to www.mccscouting.org and choose Districts>Hornets Nest.   You can also go use the direct link: http://www.mccscouting.org/Districts/HornetsNest.aspx 

On
  the District website you’ll find information on district-wide events (Fall Cub Adventure), monthly District Roundtable meetings, Cub Scout/Webelos Summer Camp, Training, and more.

 
Boy Scouts of America Website: scouting.org is the main Boy Scouts of America website. There you’ll find information on all sorts of aspects of Cub Scouts (plus Boy Scouts and Venturing).

Boy Scouts of America Online Training Website:  myscouting.org is the BSA’s online training website. There you’ll find information on online training and can complete a number of online training courses, including Youth Protection Training (YPT), which all leaders MUST have before applying to be a leader. Pack 186's goal is to have every PARENT take YPT, as well.

BOYS LIFE magazine website: boyslife.org is the website for the BSA’s magazine for boys, Boys Life, which is celebrating its 100th Anniversary in 2011. It’s available by subscription for Scouts but anyone can read it online, too. Boys who read Boys Life stay in Scouting longer, and its full of great reading fun.
