If you are having problems signing in to the actual page, please call or email me, I will give you the password.    Thank you all for everything you guys have done.

Cub Scouting means "doing." Everything in Cub Scouting is designed to have the boys doing things. Activities are used to achieve the aims of Scouting—citizenship, training, character development and personal fitness.  Many of the activities happen right in the den and pack. The most important are the weekly den meetings and the monthly pack meetings.

Apart from the fun and excitement of Cub Scout activities, the Cub Scout Promise, the Law of the Pack, and the Cub Scout sign, handshake, motto, and salute all teach good citizenship and contribute to a boy's sense of belonging.

As our pack, troop and ventures grow more each year, hopefully this site will help others to learn and see what all scouting means to you and your child.  For the year 2011, we have a lot of fun things happening and want every child to be able to experience the fun and growth.
Only Registered Cub Scout Families have access to our private pages.  If you are a member of, or a relative of a member of Pack 151, and would like to have access, please send us an e-mail utilizing the "Contact Our Pack" link above. Thank You!!

How much does it cost?
  • When you join our ranks there is a $16 registration fee and insurance to be sent to Boy Scouts of America to make your son an official scout.
  • A scout can receive his own magazine for an extra $12 subscription to Boy's Life magazine.
  • Financial assistance is available through the Lincoln Heritage Council for those families that need help with the registration fees.  No boy will ever be turned away because of financial issues.
What age boys are involved in Cub Scouting?
  • Boys in the first through fifth grades may join.
When do boys leave Cub Scouting and become Boy Scouts?
  • Boys in the fifth grade will be considered Webelos II's which is the second year of the Webelos Cub Scouting program which is designed to prepare the boys to become Boy Scouts.  When the boys are completed with the Webelos program they will participate in a Crossover ceremony where they are welcomed into a local Boy Scout Troop of their and their parents choosing.

What is Cub Scouting?

  • In 1930, the Boy Scouts of America created a new opportunity called Cub Scouting for boys younger than Boy Scout age.  A year-round, home-centered program used by chartered organizations, Cub Scouting emphasizes involvement between boys and their parents, adult leaders, and friends.  In the multidimensional plan of the Boy Scouts of America, Cub Scouting is where it all begins.  Currently, it is the largest of the organization's three membership divisions.  (The others are Boy Scouting and Venturing.)

What is the Purpose of Cub Scouting?

  • Influence a boy's character development and spiritual growth.
  • Develop habits and attitudes of good citizenship.
  • Encourage good sportsmanship and pride in growing strong in mind and body.
  • Improve understanding within the family.
  • Strengthen a boy's ability to get along with others.
  • Foster a sense of personal achievement by developing new interests and skills.
