About Us

Welcome to our website. Our Cub Scout Pack started in October of 2009, and generally meets over at Bonham Academy in the King William Historic District. Our pack welcomes boys starting 1st grade- 5th grade. We are were planning to start a Boy Scout Troop starting Summer of 2011, but we didn't have any parent volunteers.

This part of the website you are visiting is the public site and our private site can only be accessed if a boys family contacts us for access permission, or if a volunteer or patron from our community would like access. Feel free to Contact Our Pack for any information you may have for us or would like to share.

Join us and let's have fun together with Cub Scout Pack #765.

Visit http://www.scouting.org/ for Boy Scouts Of America.

Visit Alamo Area Council at www.alamoarea-boyscouts.org/

Scouting is FUN and rewarding for both boys and parents! Scouts use Cub Scouts Handbooks, and some use the internet at http://usscouts.org/advance/cubscout. Parents and Leaders attend on-line training, classes, and rountable meetings that has fun teachable classes and great advice for scout parents and Leaders.
Cub Scouts lessons are already laid out for us, it's so simple to be involved.

Volunteers

The Boy Scouts of America relies on dedicated volunteers to promote its mission of preparing young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetime by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Today, nearly 1.2 million adults provide leadership and mentoring to Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Venturers.

Through the dedication of these many volunteers, the Boy Scouts of America remains the foremost youth program of character development and values-based leadership training in America.

To these volunteers we would like to say thank you for your dedication to Scouting.

And, to adults who are not currently Scout volunteers, we invite you to become a volunteer and share in the positive experiences of the Scouting programs.

What is your son's goal in Scouting?

Just over 2 million boys have reached Eagle in 100 years (15,000 a year, roughly). Currently, around 4 of every 100 boys that joins Scouts make Eagle--that's less than 1% of the male population.

Visit http://usscouts.org/eagle/bsfamous.asp and check out former Scouts who became Famous BSA Scouts!
