We are an Interest Patrol for girls with a Passion for Fashion!

Our monthly workshops will get you ready for the Fashion Runway in May.

The Fashion Patrol is for 6th to 12th graders.

Must be a registered Girl Scout.

Fashion Patrol

The Fashion Patrol GSEP is planning our 2018-2019 events, and would like you to mark your calendars. We have reserved space at the Valley Forge Service Center,100 Juliette Low Way, Valley Forge,PA. Space is limited to 20 girls. Financial Aid is available.

September 14th @ 7:00 p.m. to 15th @ 2:00 p.m. -- $25
Join the Party and make your own P.J. Pants at our sleepover. See how you can jazz up a coordinating t-shirt and be inspired by the possibilities of the technique of drawstrings! Each girl should bring 2½ yards of soft fabric like flannel or fleece and a coordinating t-shirt.

October 12th @ 7:00 p.m. to 13th @ 2:00 p.m. -- $25
Learn new techniques to sew and embellish a purse and make jewelry. Saturday morning field trip to Steve’s Sew & Vac in KOP for tour and Make & Take project.

November 9th @ 7:00 p.m. to 10th @ 2:00 p.m. -- $25
Create a garment and accessory using recycled materials or re-purposed denim. Use your imagination! + Guided tour of GSEP History Museum.

December—Date, Time and Cost TBD
Field Trip to Philadelphia Museum of Art--Fabulous Fashion: From Dior’s New Look to Now exhibit.

January 18th @ 7:00 p.m. to 19th @ 2:00 p.m. -- $25
Stitch and stuff your favorite; friend, food, or fantasy. Plushies are soft and huggable! Anything for fun!

February 1st @ 7:00 p.m. to 2nd @ 2:00 p.m. -- $25
Learn basic quilting techniques, such as, piecing, appliqué and quilting. Try other small projects such as, mug rugs, potholders, placemats and cosmetic bags. Great for gifts.

March 1st @ 7:00 p.m. to 2nd @ 5:00 p.m. -- $25
Each girl will have 1 day to transform a provided bridesmaid dress into a design of her own. On Saturday afternoon the families come back to see the Fashion Show. It's a less intense version of our Fashion Runway Event.

April 5th @ 7:00 p.m. to 6th @ 5:00 p.m. -- $25
Service sewing opportunity making baby items to be donated locally to families in need. Fashion Patrol members arrive Friday to get ready to lead workshops on Saturday for younger girls. Then we will complete and pack up items for delivery.

Sat. Field Trip to Home Sewing Center in Allentown for tour and Make & Take project.
