Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 125!
is a Boy Scouts of America
program for youth in grades K-5. The aims of Scouting are participatory citizenship
, character development
, and personal fitness. Youth in Cub Scouts learn positive values, improve physical fitness, acquire practical skills, and develop a spirit of community service through belonging to dens and packs, engaging in meaningful activities, and earning awards. Our pack does many fun activities, including hiking, camping, community service projects, group games, and the annual Pinewood Derby. Our council sponsors day camps, family camps, and shooting sports events (supervised by certified range masters at council events, Cub Scouts may learn how to enjoy archery, BB guns, and slingshots safely
). You can learn more at Cub Scouting
With so many demands on your family's time, why join Cub Scouts? What makes it different? These are the two most important differences between Cub Scouts and the other things—music, sports, or whatever—your child might do:
- Cub Scouts instills positive values.
- Where other activities are drop-off activities, with occasional performances that you observe, in Cub Scouts, you build memories with your child by doing things together.
Consider this: in a few years, your child will be a teenager. If you want to have a good relationship with your teenager, you need a good relationship with your grade school-aged child. Cub Scouts provides an excellent opportunity to build that relationship.
