The 18 Cub scouts from Pack 453 teamed up with Comcast at Optimist Park, this past Saturday, as part of the Comcast Cares Day. The cubs were personally thanked by the Mayor of Lebanon, Sherry Capello. They had their pictures taken with her as well. Once all of the hard work was done, the boys went on to give their seal of approval by testing out the newly mulched play areas. With grins galore, the park was approved by many excited and tired Cubs. Thank you to all of those who came out and gave their all (about four hours each) This event helped many cubs meet their community service requirements for Badges and Belt Loops they are working on. When you get a chance, go to the Optimist Park in Lebanon, PA to see what an impact both teams had on such a wonderful and under-used park.
