Our Boy Scout will be going to Hale Scout Reservation for summer Camp in July. Our WEBELOS, and Bears will be attending Camp Kanza.
WE WANT TO WISH THEM LUCK AND FUN AND HOPE THEY GET A LOT OF KNOWLEDGE AND TRAINING!!
Cubpack 48, Coffeyville scouting, and all local BSA have had a profound and saddening shock this week, as Jack Pendleton passed away unexpectedly at home on Feb 8th. Jack was a tremendous supporter and friend of Scouting, having served as Pack 48 Secretary/Treasurer for many years. While attending Jack's funeral service last Wednesday, it was an inspirational and moving ceremony with many Scouters attended in uniform. Jack was an invaluable asset to pack 48 and to Scouting in general and will be sorely missed. Please keep Maryann, Dona, and all of Jack's family in your thoughts and prayers.
