How often do the Cub Scouts Meet?
Generally, cub scouts meet twice a month, September through May: once for a den meeting, and once for a pack meeting. They also have opportunities to participate in other den and pack events, like service projects, campouts, hikes, and visits to historic sites.
What is the difference between a den and pack meeting?
The same grade boys meet in a small group setting called a Den. First graders should go to the meeting with their guardian. In later grades, the parents do not have to attend the den meeting. All parents are welcome to come and assist at the meeting. Some den meetings may be a field trip, so parents should help drive and chaperone.
All Cub Scouts and their family meet jointly in a pack meting. This is a place for Cub Scouts to be recognized for achievements and accomplishments. They will be awarded for various badges and ranks earned throughout the year. Sometimes, there is a guest speaker or event during the pack meeting.
What are the Cub Scouts Activities are planned through the year?
All Cub Scouts and their families are welcome to join the major activities. This year includes Red Ribbon Week, Food Drive, Pinewood Derby, and two family camping trips. More activities will be planned as people volunteer to help out.
What does my son to need to start with?
A uniform top and age appropriate Cub Scout Book. Purchase only the uniform top and neckerchief and slide. It has been optional for Pack 220 members to purchase, shorts, pants, belt or hat. Wear the uniform to the den and pack meetings and any other public setting.

What about the rank patch?
The den leader or Cubmaster will provide/award the rank patch during the pack meeting. If you lose it, contact the leader for a replacement.
