New Trip Order Form Procedures for Troop 427
Troop 427 Has Adopted new Procedures for Scouts wishing to Attend any Trips.
- Most trips/outings are listed on the Event Calendar on our Scoutlander website with their corresponding Trip Order Forms. Occasionally an event will become available and the event information will be announced during a troop meeting and/or email.
- All Trip Order Forms and payment must be submitted by the Scout directly to the Committee. Trip order forms may not be submitted to anyone else.
- Some trips have a limit as to how many Scouts may attend. This will be accommodated on a First Come, First Served Basis.
- All trips have registration deadlines. Any Scout that wishes to attend but the deadline has passed, must get approval from the Committee.
- Troop 427 will no longer accept cash. You have two options: Option 1 – Staple a check to each Trip Order form when submitting them; Option 2 – Use scout credit – Submit a Trip Order form with Credit indicated. If you do not have enough scout credit in your account, please submit a check to refill your scout's credit account promptly. The check can be for any amount and any balance can be used for additional trips or summer camp. Our treasurer, John Helenek, maintains individual scout credit accounts and will be made available at each troop meeting, additionally you can e-mail him at jhelenek@optonline.net to get your scout credit balance anytime.
- Any Scout with a negative balance must make the account current in order to attend any further events.
- Medical Forms must be current in order to attend trips.
