Founded by Juliette Gordon Low in Savannah, Georgia, in 1912, Girl Scouting has now been around for 100 years! Juliette imagined that Girl Scouts could be "the magic thread" that would connect girls everywhere, and for 59 million women, the ties have never been stronger.
Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia is rich in heritage and purpose. Our jurisdiction extends from the North Georgia mountains to the Okefenokee and from the Atlantic coast to the Chattahoochee Valley!
