  Welcome Tiger Parents

Pack 919 welcomes first graders and their parents! At the beginning of each school year a new group of First Graders joins our Pack 919.

  • New first graders and their parents form our new Tiger Den(s)
  •  Each Den is led by Volunteer Adult Den Leaders!
  • Dens usually have 8-10 boys, a Den Leader and an Assistant Den Leader
  • Leaders are often a parent/guardian of one of the Cub Scouts in the Den
  • No scouting experience is necessary!
  •  We encourage all parents in the Tiger Den to come together and talk about their den leadership.

A DEN LEADER,together with den parents, plans and holds den meetings usually once a month (sometimes twice).

RESOURCES AVAILABLEinclude a New Den Leader Resources handbook that tells you what a den leader does, a Tiger Den Leader handbook that tells you about Tiger rank leadership, and a Meeting Resource Guide which has all of the meeting plans already laid out!

You can find these and other resources at our Pack’s website http://ohiopack919.ScoutLander.com and on the BSA website http://www.scouting.org/Home/CubScouts.aspx.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask any of the scout leaders in our pack!

We are all parents and we were all new at one point.
