Dear Parents,

The Girl Scouts is the world's preeminent organization dedicated solely to girls, where in an accepting and nurturing environment, Girls and Parents will Discover, Connect and Take Action in various communities.  We are uniquely positioned to help girls everywhere develop values and the confidence they need to succeed in life. We just celebrated our 100th year of building girls of Courage, Confidence and Character. Thank you for your support.

We hope this web site will give you an insight to what goes on in the Hickory Service Unit.  Any time you have a question about your daughter's troop, an event, field trip or camping, please do not hesitate to contact either the event chairperson, or the Service Unit Manager and we will be happy to speak with you.

If you are new to the area or interested in getting involved with Girl Scouts, and would like more information, please feel free to contact us.  We will respond quickly and help answer your questions.

We hope your daughter will have many happy years and memories of her time with the Hickory Service Unit.
Thank you for the privilege of working with your child.

You can also check out our Facebook page to get a glimpse of the fun we have here in Hickory!

Sincerely,

The Hickory Service Unit Volunteers
