When Kurt crossed over to Boy Scouts Keith followed and became the Advancement Chair for Troop 242 Bethania Lutheran Church. His son has since become an Eagle Scout also in October of 2016.

In March of 2015, Keith stepped up to become the Scoutmaster of Troop 242. He brings with him 10 years as a scout, both Cubs and Boy Scouts, and another 8 yrs in leadership roles at the Cub Scout, District and Troop levels. He looks forward to this new role and working with the Scouts of Troop 242.

While his involvement over the years has been broken he says he believes in the ideals and principles of scouting and feels much of what he learned in scouting helped him in his career as a firefighter. We welcome his involvement with Troop 242.
