You are invited to our PACK meetings!

7 - 8pm at
First United Methodist Church
 501 W Market St, Perkasie, PA 18944

Come see all the fun we have in Cub Scouts!

Cub Pack 79 is chartered to (sponsored by) First United Methodist Church in Perkasie and draws scouts from Guth Elementary and the surrounding area.  Pack and den meetings are held at the church.

Cub Scouting is a family-oriented program that instills values such as citizenship, teamwork, honesty, respect, responsibility, and fitness, while having a lot of fun!  We want the boys to have a great time, while teaching them something along the way. We also believe that an important part of scouting is giving back to the community, through community service projects.  Cub Scouting teaches many fun and valuable skills -- swimming, first aid, camping, friendship and more!  Any boys in grades 1 through 5 interested in scouting are invited to join us.

The Pack is made up of dens:Tigers (1st grade), Wolves (2nd grade), Bears (3rd grade), Webelos (4th grade), and Arrow of Light (5th grade). Each den meets bi-weekly with the pack coming together as a whole once a month.

Each month, Tigers, along with a parent, will go on an "Adventure" over the course of two den meetings. Tigers also participate in monthly Pack meetings with skits, songs and recognition of their achievements!

In all other dens, the scouts work with their leaders on their "Adventures" and learn new skills. Like the Tigers, all other dens actively participate in the pack meetings.

Pack 79 is run by a committee of parent volunteers who meet on a monthly basis. Our pack committee is made up of the committee chair, cubmaster, den leaders, pack treasurer, secretary, fundraising chair, and advancements coordinator. All parents are encouraged to join the pack committee to help plan our events.
