We are grateful to once again be hosted by Legacy Church for our race location.  Our event will begin at 9:00am with pot luck continental breakfast buffet and then the racing will begin by Dens until we eventually we crown our race champion who will then represent our Pack and compete against other scouts from San Diego at the Scout Fair in April.  Remember - Besides speed, there will also be Awards for creativity such as Best Design, Best Themed Car as well as scouts who exemplify Scout values such as Sportsmanship.  We anticipate all racing will be done by noon.

We will also have a 'Dad's Division' race (which can include Mom's) for those Parents who want to show off their engineering skills (or just need an excuse to buy more tools...) and a Siblings division for any non-scouts to race as well.  Additional car kits for Adults or Siblings can be purchased at the Scout Store.

Please plan to bring a breakfast item to share, your Scout in their 'Class A' uniform, and any family and friends who want to be a part of the fun.

Be sure to give your car a 'name' and bring it to the Official Weigh-In on Wednesday, February 27th between 5:30 and 7:00pm.  We will have some tools available for last minute adjustments.  Please check the website www.sandiego500.org for official rules and regulations such as weight and size limits.  You will turn in your car for safekeeping and it will be transported to our race location for you.

Legacy Church is at 10881 Tierrasanta Blvd., 92124 (entrance to the parking lot is off of Ducos Place, or there is parking on their upper lot off of Baroque Lane and stairs leading down to the auditorium.

Cub Scout and Scouting Info

Many people have heard of Cub Scouts and Scouting and may even be interested in their son joining, but may not know a lot about what Scouting is about or what Cub Scouts do.  Here are a couple web links people can check out to learn more.  We hope that helps and of course if you have any specific questions about our pack please ask.
