Our Cub Pack was founded in 2011 as part of Loyd Presbyterian Church in LaGrange, GA where we meet every other Sunday afternoon. We are in the Chattahoochee Council and Yellow Jacket District. Our mission is to have a safe environment for families to grow, learn, have fun, and give back. Our unit number 518 was chosen from 1 Thessalonians 5:18 "give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus." We all have differing circumstances in life, but here (at 518) we are thankful for each one. Thankful that we can come together, share experiences, and give back to our community. We do not just think of ourselves as a Cub Pack, we are an extension of family. We enjoy going to various camps throughout the year, helping the boys learn and explore in den meetings while earning many awards and belt loops, but we mostly enjoy the family atmosphere that comes with this Unit.
