Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 714 - Blaine/SLP

Our first pack meeting of the program year will be held on Monday, Sept 8, 2014 at 6:30 pm at Northpoint Elementary. We will have a flag ceremony and welcome, review fall events, and have pack games in the gym while we have a quick parents orientation session to provide an overview of Pack 714 and the Cub Scout program.

New members welcome!  Please join us on the 8th, 15th or at our Recruitment Night on September 18th from 7-8 pm.

Hope to see you there!

Pack 714 provides Cub Scout programs for families of boys in grades K-5 from the Blaine and Spring Lake Park area. Due to elementary school boundaries, we have scouts in our pack from a number of schools living in this area, although most attend Northpoint Elementary and that is where most of our Pack Meetings are held. Our Pack is chartered by Kraus-Hartig VFW Post 6587
in Spring Lake Park.

Each grade, K-5 has active Dens that meet 2-3 times per month during the school year and Pack meetings are held monthly. We conduct an annual Pinewood Derby, Blue and Gold Banquet, participate in a number of District and Council events, and try to hold at least one Pack activity per month during the summer.

We are a 2011 Journey to Excellence Gold Unit Award and National Summertime Pack Award recipient.

Everything boys do in Cub Scouting has a purpose.
Apart from the fun and excitement,
the aim of Cub Scouting is to help boys grow into good citizens
who are strong in character and personally fit.
This is why we say that Cub Scouting is "Fun with a Purpose".
