Introduction

Pack 341 is located near the heart of Tennessee in the community of Christiana.  We are chartered by Christiana Elementary School and meet there on most Thursday night's during the school year.  We have around 40 registered Cub Scouts in our Pack through our five dens.

Dens are organized as follows:

Tiger Cubs - 1st graders and our youngest scouts
Wolf Cub Scouts - 2nd graders
Bear Cub Scouts - 3rd graders
Webelos Scouts
- Webelos 1 (4th graders)
- Webelos 2 (5th graders)

What is Cub Scouting?

Cub Scouting, simply put, is fun with a purpose.  We learn by doing.  With a strict eye toward safety we regularly engage in archery, BB gun shooting, and camping.  We go places.  We might visit a radio station or a fire station.  We have at least two camping events each year, often at Camp Boxwell in Wilson County.  When we do things and go places, we earn awards.  It can be a badge, a bead, a belt loop, a pin, or simply a smiling face for a job well done.

The Things We Value

The Purposes of Cub Scouting are the central pillar on which Cub Scouts is based.  The ten purposes are:  Character Development, Spiritual Growth, Good Citizenship, Sportsmanship and Fitness, Family Understanding, Respectful Relationships, Personal Achievement, Friendly Service, Fun and Adventure, and Preparation for Boy Scouts.

The Things We Do

Annually our pack participates in our welcome picnic, The MTSU Scout Day, Scouting for Food, the Murfreesboro Christmas Parade, the Raingutter Regata, The Blue and Gold Banquet, The Pinewood Derby, Memorial Day Grave Decorating at Stones River National Battlefield, Summer Day Camp, and many other activities year round.  Of course, what would scouts be without camping?  We always have a camping trip in the fall and one in the spring at Camp Boxwell in Wilson County.
