Welcome Troop 114 Alumni

You've reached Troop 114 Alumni Site.  This is a place where Scouts and Scouters from the last 73 years can gather, share and reconnect online, and stay up to date with the Troop's current activities and plans for the future. As we all know, there's something special about Troop 114. We still have meetings on Thursday nights at the scout hut, and camp on the third weekend of every month, we've been doing it for as long as anyone can remember, and our Alumni group is one of the most active in Scouting.

This portion of the website is public and can be visited by anyone.  By registering as a user you'll be able to connect with other users, see the calendar and share information about yourself.  Most importantly, you'll be on our mailing list, so you can keep up with Troop news.

Please use the "Contact Our Troop" link at the top of the page to request a user ID.  In your message, please indicate your name and the years you were in the Troop so we can validate your request.  We'd also love you to pass along contact information of others that you may still be connected with that were part of the Troop.

www.troop-114.org

This site is dedicated to Troop 114 Alumni.  It's a fairly dormant site, with minimal announcements regarding new Eagle Scouts and Alumni activities.  If you're looking for the current Troop 114 site, visit www.troop-114.org today!  The Troop site has membership information, current news, schedules and activities, and is a great place to point anyone interested in joining the Troop.

The Jim Meyer Scholarship Fund

James H. Meyer served the Scouting program for 37 years as an Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 114.  For nearly four decades he distinguished himself as a youth oriented, "boy-run" Scouting advocate.  Today, we remember Jim Meyer with a scholarship fund that helps more scouts go more places.

The money for this scholarship is collected in a variety of ways, and is distributed based on need by the Troop 114 Committee.  Donations are received from individuals and civic organizations, former scouts, and through activities like the annual Scout Breakfast.

You can contribute as well!  A cash donation is welcome anytime, however, you could also help by using and reloading a King Soopers gift card.  This simple act can contribute 5% of your groceries and/or gas to this great cause.

Troop 114 strongly believes “no youth shall be denied a program experience because of lack of funds.”   However, a Scout is Thrifty and every effort must be made by applicants to earn their own way.  Scholarships can help to offset the costs associated with camp, registration, uniforms and more.

If you'd like to contribute in any way, please contact us through the "contact our troop" link at the top of the page.  Your message will be routed to the proper recipient.

Have you seen these EAGLES?

We're always searching for the Eagles of 114.  Our 75th Reunion is coming up quickly, and we're aiming to have the largest gathering of 114 Eagles in one place...ever.  Help us by checking the list, if you know how to contact any of them, let us know.  If you are one of them, let us know.  We're interested in any alumni, not just Eagle Scouts, so if you know anyone else that's from the Troop; let us know.
