About Us

Our pack is chartered to Wickliffe Presbyterian Church in Wickliffe, Ohio and is an official unit of the Boy Scouts of America, Lake Erie Council, Headwaters District. The church is a sponsoring institution, providing us with a meeting place and storage for our gear, equipment and awards. The local council encompasses an area of northern Ohio that includes Packs, Troops, and Venture Crews in Ashtabula, Trumbull, Portage, Geauga and Lake Counties (and in 2017, Erie, Huron and Lorain joined Lake Erie Council as well). The district includes Packs, Troops, and Venture Crews in Geauga County and portions of Lake County. In addition to all the great pack activities, the council and district also organize major outings that will include boys from other packs.

We encourage our leaders to be fully trained so our boys can get the most out of what the Boy Scouts of America has to offer. Leaders can be adult males or females and many of our male leaders were Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts as youths.

The BSA has strict guidelines to which all leaders must adhere. Adult leaders and committee members receive the benefit of online training resources; parents, too! If you see this patch on a leader's shirt sleeve it means your son is receiving the full benefit of the Scouting program because an adult leader took the time to become fully trained for his or her position.
