A Night in Paris...A Black and White Affair

Geocaching is our chance to be part global explorer, part detective.  We'll search for treasure chests, known as "geocaches," using a device  called a GPS receiver to find each chest's secret hiding place.  Get ready for some fun!

KC Zoo
Sunday, April 10th
1-4pm

Cost $15, checks made out to TRoop 1899

The girls will learn about GPS units and how to use coordinates/a compass.   They will head into the zoo and work in groups to find hidden caches around the zoo.  The girls will also make "travel bugs" which are digital dogtags and that they can hide somewhere and watch travel online.  Finally, the girls will get to have an animal encounter with animals that use navigational skills to survive.
