        Boy Scouts is about building character, developing personal fitness, and learning leadership and citizenship. These goals are achieved in the outdoors. The adventure of hiking, camping, swimming, boating, high-adventure challenges, and touring is woven into the program.

        Scouting, in my opinion, is a fantastic way to meet yourself more than you already have. With Scouts, you can meet the courageous side, the outdoor side, the scientific side, the leader-like side, and the religious side of yourself.

        In Boy Scouts, you can gain memories that you may never get any other way. For example, you may do something as small as building your first campfire (and top that with a hot dog and a few s'mores!), to visiting a place you've never seen before!

        Boy Scouts has over 100 merit badges, each pointing towards different careers. Because of this, Boy Scouts is one of the best and earliest opportunities for future careers.
