Our History

In 1966 a man named Bud was committeeman for Pack 150. When his oldest son was a cub scout Bud was a Webelos den leader. When Bud's oldest became a Webelos he became the Cubmaster of Pack 150. Then in 1970 a horrible accident happened to a man named Dick Mark, who was a scout master, he drowned. Then Bud was asked to be  the scout master for a new troop, troop 63, our troop. Bud's assistances were Ray Zimmerman and Carroll Bolen. Bud did many things with the boy scouts; he went to camps, helped with many community projects, fund raisers, and much more.
One of the community projects they did was called a roadside clean-up. Troop 63 adapted the Red Covered Bridge Road. We still clean this road on a regular basis. To this day we do everything Bud did. Our new scoutmaster Norm organizes our camp outs and projects, with the help of the committee, which Bud is a part of. We have a wonderful troop.
