-The Blackhawk Area Council patch is sewn at the top of the left shoulder seam.
-Pack 417 numerals are displayed directly below this.
Optional World Crest Ring
-The World Crest should be sewn mid way between the left pocket and the shoulder seam.
-If the optional ring is used, it is sewn onto the uniform in conjunction with the blue World Crest emblem.
-Square knot emblems, if received are worn over the left pocket.
-Service stars may be worn by both Scouts and leaders just below the world crest. The service star shows tenure in Scouting.
-Rank badges should be sewn to the left shirt pocket.
-Bobcat just below the pocket flap
-Tiger just below the Bobcat patch
-Lion just below Tiger patch
-Wolf towards the right sleeve between the Bobcat and Tiger badges
-Bear towards the left sleeve between the Bobcat and Tiger badges
-Once the Webelos rank is achieved only the Webelos patch may be worn on the left pocket.
-The Arrow of Light patch is to be sewn just below the left pocket.
-Square knots and service pins remain the same as previous ranks.
-The United States flag is presewn at the top of the right shoulder seam.
-If a den chooses to use a den numeral or emblem it is sewn below the flag.
-The Journey to Excellence Award, if earned, should be sewn 4 inches below the shoulder seam.
-The Boy Scouts of America patch is presewn above the right pocket.
-The Cub Scout Outdoor Activity Award, if earned, is sewn over the right pocket flap.
-Temporary patches may be worn on the right shirt pocket.
-The recruiter patch, if earned, is worn just below the right shirt pocket. A Scout can earn the recruiter patch by getting another person to join either their Den or Pack.
-Adventure Loops, once earned, are worn by the Tigers, Wolfs, and Bears on their official navy blue belt.
-The Webelos Colors are worn on the right sleeve below and touching the U.S. flag.
-Adventure Pins, once earned, are worn by Webelos and Arrow of light on the Webelos Colors.
